Few minor issues with my 05 impreza sti
Hi all, just picked up my new car on monday, and have to say its amazing!
Just got a couple of very minor issues that i would like some advice on.
1. My headlights seem to point very low at night, even when adjusted to the highest setting next to the steering wheel, can they be adjusted on the top of the headlights themselves?
2. When changing gear i get a clunky rattle sound, its the bit that you pull up to engage reverse gear rattling on the shaft of the gear stick itself, has anyone had this, and no of a possible way to stop it happening?
Help appreciated! Chris

I bought a manual cd of ebay and it is pretty good to be fair.
You'll have to investigate to rattling, strip down the gearstick, whip out the centre consol, its only a few screws. At worst your talking a new gearstick.
Not sure if the headlights can be adjusted under the bonnet ?????

Thanks for the help, ill have a poke round the bonnet, i think some headlights have a screw on top that will adjust them from left/right and up/down, but we will see

At 318MB, I doubt anyone will be able to upload the service manual to SN. Suggest having a look online for STi 04 Service Manual (which covers the 05 model as well), it used to be available to download from a few sites for free.
