Default Help Tinny rattle coming from the passenger rear side

Was woundering if anyone can shed a little light on my annoying noise.

My 2003 STI has developed a tinny vibrating rattle noise which SEEMS to be coming from the passenger rear door.

I have taken the rear door card off and had someone in the rear passenger seat trying to pin piont the noise but have had no luck every thing is tight and the are no sloppy parts.

Iv even stuck a few towel in to deaden the sound but no joy so i think i can rule out the rear door.

The noise is not always there just seems to be at sertain road surfaces.

Once into high gears sitting at 60mph-80mph there is no noise what so ever.

Has anyone come cross anything simlar?????

I had it coming from my heatshield vibrating. Stopped when I had the exhaust system replaced. Though mine was from from the downpipe area.

take the bolt out and pop a big washer on and re-tighten can normally stop that, the area around where the bolt goes thru can corrode and it only needs a little movement to rattle,
worth a try for a £1 worth of penny washers.
