very strange

Default very strange

just on my way home from work and as i pulled of the eastlancs the petrol light came on no probs two miles home and 3miles to petrol staition in the morning pulled into my street gave it a little tickle past the brother inlaws to wake him up then it just sort of cut out for a second rolled in to my drive let it tickover for a few mins al fine cud it just be because its low on fuel, the light apears to have come on very late as needle is teatering on the bottom any ideas gents would be appreciated

It' normal when your low on fuel because you give it some beans past your brother in laws and it was running low on fuel the ecu regulates the flow of fuel.

Also, when it's low, you can get the fuel sloshing about in the tank and it then manages to suck some air, instead of V-Power.

The trick is not to give it any beans unless you have a half tank or so
