Air leaks in the plumbing for the FMIC. Pressure test to find the leak.

I'd imagine the map tweak is the way forward. Has the car ever been mapped?

You cant map around it if it was running fine before fitting the FMIC. You most certainly have a leak and it will effect performance.

Start the car and listen/feel for any leaks, check all silicone joiners.

I would check your turbo inlet pipe aswell, particularly around the maf if a maf tube was part of the FMIC kit. Thats what it was for me anyway. HTH.

What dump valve are you using? Most likely causing a leak on idle.

Will require remapping for fmic also, but shouldnt effect idle.

Yes of course remapping is essential and will effect it but the throttle is closed on idle so he car should idle with out issue as the air is drawn through the maf via the idle valve which is plumbed into the inlet pipe.

I suspect the dumpvalve you have fitted with fmic is openning on idle.
