Default Creaking

Hi chaps,

Just finding out something.

I have uprated most bushes on the chassis, but after doing the final ones, which were the wishbones and front droplinks, I seem to have a creaking, not all the time, just if I go up a driveway and reverse off at an angle it'll creak.

Any ideas? Or is this normal? as every thing is tight now.?

are they sufficently greased up? I have to re-grease the polly bushes for my droplinks and antiroll bars every year or so (don't do many miles) or they start creaking when they get dry

I had a similar noise, was only at low speeds, usually with some steering lock applied. Strangely I have recently upgraded to some 18"s and the noise has misteriously vanished. Maybe mine was just a loose wheel nut or two? Who knows, hope you get it sorted though mate!

It's got lube on all bits. It's only happened since I changed wishbones for alloy ones and new bushes in there, plus droplinks, they are adjustable droplinks, maybe to tight? It doesn't bother me as it's only when going up a little driveway at angle, only when turning around. But my god doesn't handle well. Think I'll justnot turn around on that bit. Ha Cheers for replies
