as above really how are the type r s on the quarter mile times as u would have to use all your gears? mines a 1997 version 3 if there is any difference? cheers rob

A standard one I'd guess to get around the 13 sec time,or maybe a touch longer.
There's so many variables like temperature,tyres,launch,fuel type ect that it's hard to give a blanket time to all of them.
My type r is a v5 and I would hope to make 13 comparing it to past cars and times.
One slight disadvantage with scoobies is on a hot day waiting for other cars in front of you let's the intercooler get hot before the run.And they don't let you use waterspray before launch.

12.8 sec, bog stardard V4 Type R,16" advan racing wheels on Toyo T1rs, running on V-power. i cant remember the temp on the day but was last Sept.

mine prob just over 300 fmic ,rogerclark k&n ,full apexi full decat,simtec(anti lag of corse lol) i would of thought about 300 so i would expect about 12 odd secs ? will it be 5 th gear crosssing line?
