Default loosing boost

Hi all, i need some help,

I recently purchased the 447 bhp scoobie from mr terminator and its a fantastic car no questions asked, the car is brilliant in ever way and i am so pleased,

The car is set up for 1.8 bar boost which it done well but today i noticed it was now boosting at 1.5 bar ? Why would i loose boost ?

Any ideas,

I have had a quick look over the vacuum hoses and couldn't find any problems so don't really know why ?

what sort of up pipe do you have as if it is a flex pipe may have a very small blow which could cause the turbo to lag slightly.

Outside temps have a factor if you can't find a leak. Don't know what it was like your way, but it was miserable and peeing down most of the day here. On a hot day you will not make boost as good as a cool day.

Is your car fitted with 3-port boost solenoid?

Just taken car out, i reset the ecu and boost solonoid by disconnecting the battery, I ran it up and down the road and now it boosts at the 1.8 its suppose to, So either the boost solonoid is faulty and letting by or the Autronic may have been holding a fault, Do the autronic ecu holds faults,

Once i ran the car for about five or ten mins then it started to only boost at 1.5 again, were as before it was boosting at 1.8 and somtimes blip to 2.0 bar and return and hold at 1.8, Now it blips to 1.6/7 and then settles at 1.5 ?

Do reckon its the boost solonoid ?

It's a MAC 3 port boost solenoid bought from Harvey on here. Anyone got one or any views on it? Might be worth a pm to Harvey Pete?
