my car UK MY99 always throws a error code 32 when tramping up the M2 towards Mallusk - which is a specific bit of motorway in N.ireland in that its about a mile & half of steep incline

its done this since day 1 when standard & still when on PPP ecu

is this because its overheating the lambda sensor, or cause its overheating the CAT

it'll go off a couple of mins after i clear the brow of the hill, ie car not under so much load.

it NEVER comes on ever apart from this jaunt up the M2. will a new sensor actually cure it, or is it CAT related?

anyone else had similar?

 

randomly my gf's 99 STI done the same sort of thing when i was driving it up a steep incline in 5th just seeing if it would pull up the hill at only about 45-50mph, check engine light came on but no noticeable loss of any power or anything odd like that. Once i turned it off and back on again it was all ok. That gave codes of 32 and 22 i think it was. The car's been mapped with just a sports cat and blitz induction kit being the only difference to standard.
