Anyone with Classic PPP ECU
Does anyone with a Classic that is running the Prodrive ECU (mine is from an RB5), also run it with a sports cat downpipe?
Or, if I'm going that way, am I better off getting the original ECU remapped?
Mine's an MY00.
Thanks

Yea I do
I have full decat and prodrive Y pipe, prodrive ECU, unless you have the intercooler Y pipe too you wont be running to its full potential.
I have bought loads of other bits for it now too so its getting remaped and set up properly when I get back from offshore when they are all fitted..
PS I will prob be selling my Prodrive Y pipe when I get home cause I have bought a new intercooler and Samco Y pipe for it so if your intrested in a few weeks I could give you first refusal..

Not without a remap, the flow from a sports cat is similar to that of a decat but with the security of knowing its going to pass its mot
Changing any part of a PPP classic which increases performance can cause issues

I have been runing prodrive ecu on MY99 for 70000 miles since the warranty ran out, also has Ninja sports cat, decat center, with knock link, but i run it on vpower, now has 138000 miles on the clock and i have seen no major issues, has a tendency to boost spike in very cold weather, and you get 3 leds lit on the knock link, never had the red led light up though. forgot to add it also has the samco y pipe to intercooler
