Burning oil? Thought white smoke was turbo? I'm sure it won't be long til some one who really knows what they're talking about will reply.

Is it doing it in certain gears or at idle?
I wouldnt worry to much at the min,is it when hot or cold? Try a good motorway run and change of petty,if continues,I think its the turbo seal, check for oil in intercooler pipes, might have gunge threw the leaky seal.. Not sure if that way will work but worked on many turbo cars ive owned

No it only did it after a run no smoke on idle but when the turbo cuts in it through blue smoke out the back also stunk of oil around the turbo but I left it a wile and it seemed ok so very confusing
