After having a think about turbo choice decided on a VF30 as turbo dynamics were selling new ones at a really good price.

Regards fitting it can I use to oil and water lines from my td04 or do I need to source some new ones? Also I wanted to change the turbo hoses for silicone ones, I am also fitting an sti topmount at the same time. Are the hoses the same as the ones fitted to a wrx or a different design?

Just need to make sure I get the correct ones.

PS going to heat wrap the manifolds with DEI as the heatshields are falling to bits, how much wrap will I need to do them?

I think they come supplied with all the pipe included from there at least thats what i was told.

A guy there told me you got what was on the picture??either way the oil feed is the same im not sure on the water though.

However it says for a wrx so not sure if it will work with vf30 and sti top mount?

water banjo's on the td04 sre m12, what are they on the vf? mt td05 is m14 and in different places, i had to modify the pipes and fit larger banjo bolts. You will probably need to do the same thing.

Thanks, might just buy a fitting kit for the lot of ebay and be done with it! For every thread I've found that says they will fit I find another that says they won't!

Nobody fitted a vf turbo and sti intercooler to a wrx

On a plus note over 100 views and not one person has used the scoobynet cliches "sell it and buy an sti" or "gearbox is on borrowed time"

no point in changing the engine till it goes wrong, thats my look on it
