speedo on my import 2000 sti has stopped because the MPH sticker on the dial has curled up and when the speedo went past it (120mph)it didnt come back.I turned engine off and after a couple of seconds the needle went clockwise past 180mph and settled slightly left of straight down.It twitches when ignition is switched on but doesnt move when driving,are these able to be reset????

 

mine did same i took clocks out and the plastic screen just clips off and i twisted it back to zero (gently ha!) and workt fine after!!

 

Yep it was just a case of sticking the sticker down and moving the needle back...work fine now.
