Engine swap: Problems with Ignition Coil
Ok 1st post so I'll start by saying howdy then I'll start from the begining
I have a '98 GC8 WRX, and after having someone work on it they swapped the overflow hose over with the radiator hose and it ended up overheating and died
I ended up buying a EJ20 turbo off ebay which ended up being out of a '99 forrester.. Have swapped the motors and gone through the hell of hooking it all up (Who would have thought in 1 year they would change so much)
but I am stuck with two different Ignition Coils, Both Diamond, one is a F-569 (which is wired with red, blue and yellow) and the other is a FH0161 (which is wired red, blue, yellow and black) .. I need to use the F-569 as it is smaller and is off the forrester engine, but the wiring I have hooked up is from the wrx I need to know what the black wire is? I'm thinking it's a earth ...
