Default cone filter for facelift wagon

I've been offered a cone filter for nothing and wonder if I can fit it to sub? Normally I'd just replace the airbox with it but with the maf in the link aswell it doesn't look poss?

If you fit a cone filter you will not see any power gains, it will just upset the readings from the maf sensor, keep the standard airbox just fit a decent panel filter, car really needs a re map if you change to cone filter and not sure what year your car is but can only be re mapped if it's 99 year on
