It gives you a few options, 10w40 semi synthetic is what will go in on a normal oil change if you dont ask for fully synthetic, fully synthetic will be either the 5w30 or the better 5w40 (shell helix ultra).

Its actually not that good for your scoob, high sheer value and takes an age to get warmed up (60 weight), plus its like tar, you dont or shouldnt need anything over a w50 in a scoob, even for track days unless you run a 500+ bhp car that puts a fair bit of heat into the engine.

I used to use 10w/40 CASTOL
Then used Silkolene 5w/40 Pro S , then switched to Silkolene 10w/60 Pro S. Been using that for past few years.
Going to be trying out Bardahl oil this time round.

That's the one mate. To be honest I am trying Bardahl on a trial basis. I love the pro s oil and that shows in my oil temps.
