Default MD Turbo's or others that support DV delete

Ages ago someone gave me either a useful link or a breakdown of the MD turbo ranges.. I have searched for ages and can not find the thread, can anyone help...

Also what is the make of the MD turbos, is it Lateral?? And do they bolt straight on or do i need to buy new turbo up and down pipes??

Failing that is there any other turbos that suport DV delete that i dont have to take out a mortgage to fund..... Want around the 350-380bhp mark....

From memory
On pump fuel

MD321 H 400hp
MD321 T 450hp
MD321 T + 475hp (No longer available)
MD321 V 500hp

They are based on Garretts
They are from Lateral Perfromance
You will need the correct oil feed

My 321T+ is an excellent big power quick spooling turbo.
Alot is down to the up pipe, headers and the map, the set up as a whole.

Cheers
Steve

Only Ball bearing turbos(Garret or VF34,VF22) give you nice sound which you are probably want.

Not sure about the TD05-20G,maybe SC(Scoobyclinc SC40,SC42)

VF28 its not ball bearing, its still thrust(journal) bearing turbo like TD04/TD05-16G/20G or VF30/VF35.

Hi there

VF34 will be OK if you want run without DV(DV delete),VF22 or VF23 are older turbo, where i wouldn't recommend run without the DV.

I would recommend try ask guys here which have VF34 for test drive and you will see if its this for what are you looking.

If anything my 321T seems to pickup better without the DV. Added to which you do get the cool sound effects with it
Even louder now my Perrin FMIC has been fitted

Forgive me if I'm wrong here, but is the OP wanting to spend quite a lot of money, NOT to get better performance, but to get a sound that can end up damaging the turbo?

I would say that is an accurate assessment of the situation and a possible indication of the shift in outlook of some Subaru owners over the period I have been involved with the marque.

Everybody has there own preferences and taste... Not everyone wants to follow the immediate crowd! When you drive a Subaru you pretty much waste money as it is.. It is not cheap to own one in the first place!

I knew right from the very start i was not going to benifit finacially from purchasing a scoob, but i also own another 2 vehicles, a bike and a VW bora so i waste money any way, i once paid over £6k on bike insurance, that to me is wasting money..
