Hi all

My new car is a MY02 Bug JDM single scroll completely stock.

I have a mapped PROVA Eifel ECU left from my 03 JDM twin scroll car.

Pinwise it fits but can i use this ECU/MAP on a non twinscroll car?

I ask because i allready have this ECU at home and a Ecutek or similar remap will cost me about 700P.

I maybe change for a VF36 or VF37 TS setup soon anyway

it will definatly need mapping. i would guess the ecu will work with the correct map on it. Best to wait til youve changed turbo's etc then get it mapped

so you even wont recommend to just put the ecu on without remap after converteed to vf37 ts?

isnt it the same engine after converted to ts?

nope i wouldnt it would have been custom mapped and every engine is slightly different, It may only need a map tweek. but certainly should be checked by a competent mapper
