Default intercooler

iv just brought a front mount intercooler for my uk spec 2000 turbo but its for a wrx sti clever aint i not! the bloke on the phone says it wont fit can any1 advise me otherwise or let me know were or if i can get 1 elsewere for my spec thanks alot..

providing its for the correct car shape, ie classic the fact its for a wrx sti makes no difference at all mate

PM harvey smith on here if you want a decent intercooler btw

thanks mate thats what i thought when i was buying it and its for a classic 2000 x reg and the intercooler is for wrx sti 97 up (classic) i know about havin to cut the inner wing ect.. and maybe havin to cut pipes to fit thats why i went for it, just maybe the shop i brought it from dont think u should have to do that not sure.

congrats i usually find fitting the intercooler itself doesn't take that long, its cutting the poxy bumper that takes the time !

haha yeah it is probley only took about half hour to fit it all when i found out what pipe went were lol. had to cut hole in inner wing and cut bottom of the under pannel 2, sweat and blood but got there in the end haha!!
