Default Turbo advise needed.

Hi,
Well after rebuilding my engine and spending a fortune on bits it looks like a new turbo is on the list now too.

Car is a 2.1 wrx sti 02 plate. currently had a vf35 on it but its shot and cant find any where to repair it. been quoted 1200 + vat for a new one or 970+ vat for a vf34.
What other options are there for hopefully cheaper money. dont want mega horse power so 400bhp is good enough. and want decent driveability.

Harveys td05 20g are around £850, produce around 380-400 and are quality and brand new.
You may get lucky and find a md321h for similar price but those 2 are probaly your best available options.
As a side note, PM Harvey he may be able to rebuild your old turbo if thats what you would prefer

SC42 Billet is what I'd choose.

Agree with above recommendations like Harvey 20G or Scoobyclinic SC(personally for your suggested bhp i would go with SC46)
