Default car speedo Vs GPS speedo

who here uses a GPS speedo, as in an iPhone app or from a satnav unit? im curious to find which is more accurate. i have a 1998 wrx, my speedo says 30mph but my GPS says 28mph. then at higher speeds, my speedo says 70mph, but GPS says 66mph. which should i trust? which would you trust?

Your speddo can read higher by upto 10% legally (I think). I use my road angel as the speedo when driving as I have it mounted such that I can read it easier than the car speedo especially my daily car where the speedo is in the middle of the dash. If you drive using the car speedo you won't get a speeding ticket.

Gps will be more accurate as ste has said, speedo's can have upto 10% margin of error (over reads on the speedo, ie reads 30, actual 28), gps will be more accurate as long as your speed is constant as it takes about a second to catch up.
