Default Correct adjustment

On a td04

What's the correct adjustment on the actuator?when the penny valve closed the actuator is the right size. I always thought u had to pull the actuator arm by 1 or 2mm to make it fit on. Like pull it on?

Can someone confirm?

All I can say is most ctuators open from 5 to 8 PSI, depending on the model. For sure the valve must remain closed ie some tension on the waste gate as turbo gas will just pass through and boost will not come on until later in the rev range.

i preloaded mine by a couple of mm and all is fine, if you have a boost gauge just monitor and re-adjust arm until happy with your boost target

Gonna try get it on rollers wednesday. Get some power and Afr readings. Because I get a smooth steady 20psi on my my98 uk turbo. Only had the car a week. I can't see no boost controller or anything . Little confused while boost is higher. It got a hks fuel cut connected but nothin to increase boost. Still don't no how it runs that boost :s
