Default Can most garages do this?

I'm needing a new radiator as i have a crack in my current on. I've ordered a new one and it should be here in a couple of days.
Can any garage fit it or are there specialist tools needed for fitting and removal?

I had the car at a local garage about 3 months ago and i'm sure they said they couldn't do it as specialist tools were needed so therefore had to go to a Subaru specialist???

I cant tackle it myself as i haven't a scooby about repairing my eh... scooby!

Cheers

Andy

Assuming your car is a standard classic/bug/blob then any garage should be able to do it in less than an hour, no special tools needed.

Have a go yourself, is easy. Hardest part may be the bottom screws that hold the fans on sometimes seize.

Id say bleeding the system properly afterwards is the hardest part for most

I did my own in the snow in december at night in 2 hours after it burst. Its an easy job, but bleeding it did take a while after. Any garage should be able to do the job.
