my98 uk boost
hi all i am back to the scooby land.
just wanna comfirm a few bits.
just picked up a 98 uk impreza and its runs as it should. but boosting holds around 19psi without no problems. the bloke i got it from only had the car a short while and didnt have a clue. looking over the history in 2001 the car had a fuel cut module and rolling road print out. there is NO manual boost controller or anythink. looks like the ecu is controlling the boost. These receipts are from 2001 where the car had 70k on the clock . at the time in 2001 it had a full decat and system fitted and the fueling bits done. just trying to understand whats actually been done. 9 or 10 years on the car is nearly on 114k and still holds 19psi/20psi?
any idea lads.
cheers
dave

just to comfirm receipt says supply and fit full exhaust and fuel cut module and full rolling road session with data printout. i just have not got the rolling road data printout
so if its been running 19/20psi since 2001 and not gone bang. might be safe but still a little worrieing if u get my drift. it does pull hard and seems to hold it to. my old classic my00 with ppp used to tail off more in the boost range.
