sorry guys, but can someone please explain to me what boost controllers do?
am i right in saying you can adjust the boost from min to max depending on how you want to drive it?

 

As the turbo makes boost as the engine speed increases , there is a wastegate in the turbo that reduces the amount of boost turbo can make. So as the boost eaches what is set by the factory setting the westgate opens and then this boost level is maintained. A boost control can change this to another pressure or greater boost. Just fitting a boost control can cause big engine damage as the car should run standard boost.
