Default Temporary Boost problem

Hi Guys,

Got an intermittent issue where I cannot full boost. Have fitted a boost gauge and can see the problem graphically now.

Normally I get around 1 bar of boost, but twice i've been stuck only getting 0.5bar. Then, a bit later on it goes back to full boosting.

Is this simply some muck in an injector I can clear out by buying some fuel additive which is an engine cleaner, or leading into something more serious?

Am running a 2005 WRX300 with PPP engine mods are Forge VTA DV and H&S backbox.

Cheers for any advice on this.

Sounds like the car is going into limp mode if its only boosting at 0.5bar.

Maybe its hit boost cut and put the car into limp mode?

Interesting,

I've got a full boot install with Capacitor, twin amps. sub etc. maybe it's doing that to recharge the battery. The last time it happened I was thumping the bass. I recently bought a new one which isn't as powerful as my old red-top. still a decent Exide Premium one though......

Cheers mate,

Seriously doubt it has anything to do with your battery?
