Default Dumpvalve

Finally starting to upgrade my scoob and I am looking to fit a dump valve that doesn't leak at high boost. Before I buy I would like to hear the opinions of other owners that have more knowledge than I have. Preferably I would buy a 'fit and forget' product, not really want to be taking it off all the time for maintenance.

I have 3 types short listed at the moment because these are the ones that I have physically seen.

Forge: least likely because the piston seems to have a lot of free play and the body is not protected.

Turbosmart: Looks pretty decent but they push their rebuild kits so might not be fit and forget. Very high price as well.

GFB: Looks very high quality and the full adjustability between vent to outside and recirculating looks very handy for when my mood changes between hooning and quiet touring. Resaonably priced as well.

The GFB one seems to be the best choice at the moment but has anyone else a better suggestion or advice?

First of all fella, put your flame suit on as these are always a point of 'debate' on here

Second:

Thirdly, I have one and can recommend the HKS SSQV

I know that they are seen as a chav add-on but I find that the standard valve starts leaking at higher boost levels. So chav or not, I would like a valve that is better than standard.

I'll have a look at the HKS one. Can that be adjusted to reciculating?

Will that HKS one be as easy to adjust as the GFB one?

You can get aftermarket recirculating ones, made wholly off metal, mine is a Forge alloy one...recirculating, of course.
