how to tell what diff does my subaru have can you help it is a my95 wrx and i have the rear diff off car for work on the car

it will be an R160 final drive ratio 3.9 to 1

According to the chart a regular MY95 WRX (i.e. NON-Type RA cars) has a 4.111 to 1 rear diff (VC of course):-

ok i am just thinking it may not be the one that *** wive the car as i have a tdo5 20g on it and i got it in japan and it has had a sh-t load do to it mate

It is notable to mention that only Turbo vehicles received a hydraulic clutch until 1995. Also, in 1998 Subaru changed from a push-style clutch to a pull-style requiring minor bellhousing and fork changes.

Confusing.

I must admit, I thought ALL regular, vanilla "phase 1" MY93-96 WRX's were 4.111 to 1.
