Default Dump valves and air filter advice please???

My scooby is fitted with a baileys DV bolted straight onto the intercooler but I don't think that the sound of it is as noticeable as others that I have heard! Which is the best one for me? Also I have a K&N panel filter but then again you can't hear the turbo whistling! Which is the best one to fit???

K&N panel filters are good in my book.

Get an oe dump valve and use the Faileys as a paper weight.

Blitz, turbosmart supersonic, his ssqv amongst others are popular VA BOV's. Your get mixed comments on here about weather or not to run them so I'll leave that up to you to decide. From my point of view, had a turbosmart vee port for years now and had no issues. Good luck!

Try ebay or pistonheads for your dump valve, like below:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SUBARU-IMPREZA...item43a7d5dd93

Dont buy the first one you see as some come up a lot cheaper :

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=200618647091

or if you have the pipework already:

I've got the baileys dv and it's pants. Sound is very muted unless your at the limit of boost levels. Gonna swap it for a hks svq 3.
I've also got the hks panel filter but the burble o the flat 4 just drows out any noticeable difference in sound from the stick filter, but don't doubt that its doing a pukka job.

Same with my baileys might do the same lad. What exhaust system you got as my burble has gone alot quieter with my new system?

I want a loud dump valve not just something that will frighten a cat away as for my system it's a full stainless decat with 3.5" tail it pops, bangs and spits flames pretty cool really but scoobys are originally a jap car so I think a jap style back box would go fine
