How reliable would this spec be....
Ok, Ive got a 1994 WRX Import.
I bought it with a 3inch downpipe and 2.5 exhaust, walbro fuel pump.
I have yellow 440cc injectors and awaiting an Apexi power FC.
Once alls fitted and mapped, how reliable would this set-up be in terms of daily use ? also power wise ?
Sorry if they are dumb questions, im new to Subaru

Do you want performance on the limit? Whenever I have a car mapped I always ask to be mapped safely not pushing anything to its limit (turbo, injectors ect) some mappers can be brutal and in no time at all you could be shelling out on gaskets, rebuilds, turbo and the likes.

200bhp!!!.... its 250.5bhp and 230 Torque as it is now.
Erm, the mapper will be Jamie at Evotune in durham. i would be happy with around 280bhp after map ? so just wanting to know if 280 would be safe.
But i guess your right by saying its all down to the mapper etc

EH comon its WRX standard setup from factory is early are 240bhp. Id say you should get about 270 safely and it will have the TD05 turbo which will cope with that.

your engine internals should be good for 350 as long as its been looked after but you will have the crappy gaskets as its not sti, these will go first my 1995 WRX gaskets went at about 330bhp.

And no way in hell will a 180bhp car eat anything near a 255bhp Skyline.
Think you have your figures totally wrong!!

I thought he might be confused between flywheel hp and hp at the wheels.
But he says it should have made 300 at the flywheel, but it made 180 at the wheels, which is around 225 hp at the flywheel, so still too low.
