hi guys,

need to track down a prodrive backbox, if possible a new age version, or an exhaust that gives decent performance without rediculous volume and cabin drone. any help welcome thanks

 

Sorenson Motorsports, Plymouth has backboxes from the same manufacturer as Prodrive (so he says) they look the same as the Prodrive ones. (except the Prodrive stamp) £200 I believe.

 

dont have 200 to spend was looking for a second hand one for a couple of notes

 

Prodrive back boxes are made by Scorpion along with TSL's Group N back box

catch yerself on fella. the only thing you will get for a couple of notes is an air freshner. No-one is going to be giving away a Prodrive back box. Much as it grieves me to say it Subaru ownership is not cheap. you either save your money and pay the price asked or lower your sights and "make do".

 

yeah i do get what you mean, but i have seen these boxes go for circa £50 previously. I just need a backbox thats not going to be too loud, i have a jap slash 5" and its rediculous, making my kids go deaf and the cabin drone is pretty bad. It would be perfect for the right person, but i need something thats still performance orientated as i have 320 bhp going through the engine.

what about the standard sti box?
what about a magnex or something like that?

i have a full 3" from turbo anyway.

that's a 2.5 inch back box. the OP has a full 3" from turbo back.

 

Prodrive boxes are made by Scorpion! I used to have a Scorpion system on a corsa GSI! You learn something new on here!
