Default power steering issues

When i start myo1 Bugeye up from cold the power steering is super hard to turn and very jolty. When im moving a litle faster it works fine, its only a problem when pulling out of drivway etc.

Any Help is Appreciated.

Mine was the same last week till I realised it had almost no fluid in it.
Funny really considering it's just been serviced.

Yep,I've done about 300 miles since topping up and it hasn't lost any more fluid.

Sounds like either fluid level or belt, both easy fixes

If it snaps you will loose power steering completely. It is a quick cheap fix though

so i looked at the belts at the front of the engine, forgive me for my total tardiness of engines, but there seems to be two belts, one is frayed the other is fine...

I believe one is the cam belt? the other?

Worth getting it looked at though hey, i believe the belt does run to the alternator from my poor knowledge of engines.

Thanks for your help

It was the belt, it SNAPPED last night..

Very difficult to drive without power steering, i presume the power steering is driven by the same belt as altenator?

Just put it in a garage, what cost am i looking at?

yes it is, the steering is much more responsive as well. I had thought when i got it the steering felt very heavy, all to do with this dam belt i guess..

Thanks for all advice and help.
