Default Best spec build na engine

I want to build a fresh engine for my rally car, the road rally doest allow forced induction so I need to build a. Na 4cylinder engine my base I think would be the 2.5quad cam legacy engine?
I'm hoping for over 200bhp and a lot of torque,

Any one have a clue about na engine and wats best to be mix n matched from sti head, injectors, use sti crank etc I'm goin to run it on omex 600 managment if that help with type r or v1/2 ra gearbox and r180 rear diff, as I been advised there the best for low ratio?

I'm going to build the engine top to bottom so aftermarket rods and crank, pistions etc if also on the cards if u can get them for the na?

Any engine builders out there wanting a challange? Want the engine for next year and don't want it going bang so needs to be reliable also?

Let the advice/ideas comence!

You'd have to think throttle bodies and new cams. These would have to be custom since it's not a common thing. Good luck getting smooth flor with the required length of throttle bodies, last time I saw someone do it they were out of the bonnet.

You may want to increase the compression ratio so new pistons might be on order.

These guys are amazing. I've worked with them before and they have a really good solid heritage.

The site is currently under renovation so it's a bit hit or miss.

cheers guys dont think the rules allow to run more than one carb i know there not alowed twin carbs on escorts and what not so i think the fueling has to be standard form as in injection, carb etc
will try the websites, who would make custom pistons? im guessing they would be uber expensive if there custom?

do the flat fours benifit from head work, valve seating, polishing inlets etc? or is that a waste of time?

also ive been told the sti early ra box is lower ratio then the type r? what is the lowest ratio box subaru do?

cheers for the info so far guys!
