Do you mean an MY99 uk turbo 2000? a WRX in this year is a JDM car and is totally different to a UK 2000 turbo.
Does your car have any modifications or is it standard?
The PPP ecu will just fit and run as long as its for the MY99/00 car, any other modifications (or in some cases like the lack of the 2.5inch exhaust) can restrict the car, and some modifications can make the car run lean with this ecu.

well -- dont know about a WRX but on a Uk car it is just a straight swop (no effect on the alarm/immobiliser). I have a feeling the prodrive ecu's dont suit the japanese imports tho' - try doing a search of this forum, should be something here......................

Bin the dv, replace with standard item as it "may" cause issues as the ecu isnt mapped with that in mind.

You wont be able to say if your car is running lean or not unless you have something to monitor it, well until it breaks that is but dv's can cause issues because the ecu has to correct the cycle when they dump, but its always going to be late and take longer plus then it goes the opposite way and has to correct again, its best without a dv and back to the recirc
