Default How to fit the exhaust

I am a complete novice when it comes to do anything mechanical but just feel it really cant be that hard to change the exhaust over. i have got a cat back cobra exhaust which i am swapping for my prodrive.

is it simply the case of removing the bolts on each section?

what would i need simply the Jack and spanners?

Do you need any exhaust putty or "glue" to seal the gaskets? I'm sure I used that stuff when I put on a backbox on my old car years ago. Are the gaskets alone enough?
