Default oil as good as Motul to buy retail?

Would like to change my oil this weekend and have not stocked up on cars normal tipple of Motul 15/50. I have been putting this in my turbo 2000 for 5 years every 3-5k. I can only get to the normal shops so Motul is off the cards. What else could i use that's good. I tried Mobil one a while back and it seemed to eat it.

I know im selling the car but i still dont want crap going in it. My baby likes the good stuff.

If it's the Motul 15w-50 300V, there isn't a lot availabe that is as good or close to as good. The Fuchs Pro R, Millers CFS, Redline and Gulf Competition are what I'd consider on a par to the 300V. Castrol Edge is a step below in quality terms as is Mobil 1.

Cheers

Tim
