Didn't bother upgrading discs just went for better pads, put a set of Goodridge hoses and DOT 5.1 fluid on my 93 wrx.
My Type R luckily already has 4 pots (and already had uprated hoses) but I got a spare set and refurbed them with a set of stainless steel pistons from Godspeed brakes http://www.godspeedbrakes.co.uk/ ,they were £100 for a set of 8 but the intial bite is much better.

You may notice on the website he can provide you with a full service of suppling calipers, discs, pads and hoses think he may also be able to fit them.

I bought mine with my engine so had a good deal.

I sent them to Godspeed to be reconditioned and they are now like new, I also had his grooved disks and pads all around. I also bought Goodridge Yellow brake hoses, then the fluid was replaced with 5.1 and I find my brakes superb.

Tbh they are great but not worth spending loads on them as you`ll be MUCH better off getting a well used set and sending them to Godspeed to recon them.

When I bought them.

After.

About £100 for the calipers, then the rest from Ian at Godspeed.
Your best off contacting direct him directly when you have a set of calipers, as he can work the best deal for you.

I bought my hoses off a mate who owns a hydraulic hose company, and he got them for cheaper than the cheapest Ebay advert.
