Default Airbox Replacement

What do you think to this.

Anyone running or looked at one of these.

I know induction kits are only worth doing if running much more horses and need to be mapped to make the most of them.

Does this address the issue of heat soak from the engine bay and potential problems with the MAF.

Or is £300 alot for a replacement airbox. Only thought I would ask as only ever seen an arc replacement airbox which claimed to make good gains while protecting the filter from the elements.

I have always just run with a green panel filter and been happy with it. Always wondered why nobody was churning out better replacement airboxes in the first place. K&N do one with a shield but that seems to be for non turbo models only.

The subaru airbox is perfectly good at its job.

That is a total waste of money imo.
