Default front wishbones

Just returned from trying to get my car 4 wheel alinment and found out the front wishbone on the nearside has snapped.Dont drive the car much as its my wifes daily, she said there was a knock from the front after some nasty potholes.
My question is,is it a difficult job and are these parts ready avalible. Its a 51 plate wagon.
I can use a set off spanners and not afraid to try most things. Is it a case of removal and fitting is the reversal or is there pitfalls i should know about before i start.

Cheers
Raymond.

definatly snapped, small arm to the chasis, just spent the last hour welding a plate over it so i can move it around without it falling to bits.
Is the part the same on the classic or does it change with the bugeye as i dont want to buy the wrong parts and have the car off the road waiting for parts.

thanks for the replies.

I changed the front arm on a punto the other week, the rear bush on it had perished so every time you pulled away, braked or went over a bump it was knocking. Not a hard job to do mate. You wheel need a ball joint splitter to get the hub off the ball joint.

Ah ok i see what you mean, at least with that bit snapping it was still attatched to the car and strut .
Dont know if its the same part as the classic though.
