Default little advice please

The last couple of days i have noticed buzz hasnt been very well when at low revs there seems to be a definate miss involved. When you accelerate full boost is there but it seems to have more lag than usual. On tick over the engine is sitting on 750rpm but seems every now and then to hunt revs will rise to 1000rpm then drop back down again. The only difference is i am running it on shell V max now istead of bp ultra 97.

Anyone got any ideas what i should be looking at ?

does anyone know if i can get a 95 plugged in and the ecu read to show any faults ?

I had a similar problem with my old 95 WRX, I changed the MAF and it sorted it.

Swap the MAF sensor as Matty says and see if that clears it. Do you have an induction kit on?

^^^^^^ +1,,,

My pals STI V2 needed these replacing as he also had similar problems. They are fairly expensive though unless you can find some good second hand ones.
As above, unscrew each one and have a good look at them, sometimes they are discolored or cracked.

Few minutes should suffice lol. Once disconnected it clears the ecu which then begins to 'learn' again.
