Swoping engine's version 1 to version 4
Hi all,
I am currently re shelling my 1994 wrx with a 1998 wrx but was wondering if I need to replace the heads in order to swop over the manifolds over ???
I know that the wiring is different and in order to have the right instrument cluster I will need the later style inlet manifold.
Also is all the running gear the same
E.g gearbox / rear diff and all drive shafts
Cheers in advance

Head and manifold bolt pattern is the same between 1993 and 1998 so no issues there.
If you use the gearbox and rear diff from the same car (94 only or 98 only) you will be fine.
