You should have a vf24 or 28 on your type r (well it actually depends what version/year it is, ie wrx or STI type R?) but they run on 10w40 semi (or fully) synthetic well or a 5w40 fully synthetic.
Any other mods whilst we are here?

Im new to subaru so forgiv me lol i had origanally a wrx engine with vf 22 turbo but bottom end went lol so i bought a wrx sti type r engine from an import place in the hope that it would be alot more stronger (bottom end). Got the injectors on that came with engine, vf22 turbo, full turbo back blitz nurspec exhaust which does sound amazing lol thats it i believe for performance/ engine wise

Oooooh! ok which import place did you get your engine from? (there are some quite scrupulous ones out there ).
Engines are not that much stronger and your going to have to have your ecu mapped or (depends on what year the car is), replace the ecu totally, the engine may fit but there are quite a few differences.
If you get the model code off the passenger suspension strut, it will tell us exactly what the car is

Apexi or Link may do the job for you the odd apexi comes up on here, links are a little more old fashioned but do the job well enough, try a few of the breakers in the for sale section
