Default Changing clocks

How easy is it to change my00 clocks to the import ones with the big rev counter in the middle and smaller speedo? And what happens about the mileage?

Thanks

I have been looking at doing this and it seems very very difficult unfortunately and you will loose your mileage.

I think on the 99/00 cars it's not that bad a problem, you need a device that changes kph to mph and you DO end up with the mileage off the donor........although I'm sure I read somewhere of someone who transplanted his odometer from his old car, plus there are firms who will cahnge the mileage for a fee.

AFAIK, on those cars, the wiring is a straight fit?

Lots of adds in the back of the autotrader from companies that do mileage changes.
