Outside temp guage reads high
Hay guys, My outside temp guage is reading 10 degrees higher than it actually is outside. Done a search through the forums and couldn't see anyone else with same problem.
I think it has been wrong since we had -9C. during the winter. It cant be cos the sensor has fallen out of place as it reads wrong even if the car hasn't been running.
'53 plate WRX STi PPP.
Also i hope this doesn't affect the engines ECU on making any decisions on mixtures / timing etc. etc.
Any thoughts ? can this be fixed ?
Cheers

Im not sure where they have the sensor in these, most cars have them in the wing mirrors and they can go wrong, if your lucky then its just the sensor thats playing up, but wait till someone comes along who can tell you exactly where it is first
