Default Exhaust Help

Hi mate.

I had the same thought recently when buying an exhaust for my newage. I ended up with a Miltek 2.75" system and it delivered everything I needed.

I guess it depends on how much power you're planning to end up with?

If you're aiming for up around 400bhp then go 3". If you're not, save yourself the aggro

If you can be bothered to sort the flanges to proper 3", then I'd do that, and get the 3" centre above.

That way, if - rather, WHEN! - you get project creep , you won't ever have to address the exhaust again, as it won't be a potential restriction.

I'm 'only' running 342/330, but got a true 3" system from the outset, for that very reason.

On a classic that will probably kill a gearbox and an engine (and the clutch and the brakes will be useless etc).
