will an early classic manifold fit a 98 model???

is this a dumb question?? watching 1 on ebay and and it says it fits all classics. i know a lot of parts are the same on them but not sure about tha exhaust header???

yes it will. they are all the same from 1993-2001 i think the early manifolds have a another lambda whole just bung that up.

thanks for the reply mate. might get it. mines just got the standard 1 on and its blowing a bit, might just need tightening, but a shiny stainless 1 will look better.

if ypou fitted a s/s one you would need it mapped mate or problems with start...

will an un-equal s-s manifold give it more power??? wont be getting it mapped, wil need new ecu.

well dont fit the stainless manifold if you are not going to get it mapped,
if you do prepare your self for a engine rebuild,you can just go fitting uprated parts
like you would on a vectra etc...

The un-equal manifold would give you a little more torque ( with a re-map )
but you would lose the burble.

it will cause you problems if you fit them without a re-map

had full decat on it 8years with no probs. dont wanna lose the burble tho.
not after powergains just a replacement.

i would another standard manifold on with geniune gaskets.

best to be safe then sorry....

il get it checked at the weekend see if i do need a new 1. the guy that fit the cambelt last week said its only blowing a tiny bit but couldnt see where from because of the heatshield. ive
