cof plug?

Hi all, just got a decat pipe for the car from the turbo to back box..do i still need to plug the cof sensor in if not will it bring up the cel? thanks

Not needed.
On the early cars it can just be removed, but iirc some of the later cars need a tweek or a cheat to extinguish the CEL.
