Anyone have a picture of boost solenoid to turbo wiring?
Hi there, sold my v1 sti back in Jan and had withdrawal symptoms so bought myself a little turbo 2000. Unfortunatly its not pulling well at all, on boost guage, its reading 5 psi which i believe is about right, you can hear the turbo cut in fine but it just doesnt pull well at all and in 4th will not go over 4000rpm as it struggles. It does have a boost controller which i have taken off and put a t-piece in however i believe the hoses from the boost solenoid to the inlet, actuator and turbo are wrong but im no expert at all so does anyone have a picture of how and where these are meant to go so i can check against mine.
Just to add, its not missfiring, engine sounds pretty sweet and check engine light does not come up with anything and it does not come on anyway. Was also thinking if fuel filter was a possiblity??
Cheers guys and gals

Sounds like boost problem.
You can check if turbo is working properly, but you have to be careful as it'll just carry on boosting. Take the pipe from actuator end, and take for a spin and boost it, see whats happening. This is of course if you have a boost gauge in place.
But some more experts will come along with their ideas as well.

@Tooly80, what year is your terzo mate because i believe they changed the solenoids in 97 to a 2 port one whereas mine is a 3 port. Cheers
