Bugeye 2002 Exhaust upgrade
Hey guys.
My stock WRX is running better (mpg-wise and power) now I have removed the RogerClark induction kit and fitted the stock parts back on.
Now I want to push my power with an exhuast system. I don't know where to start and what to go for. And is it possible to install any exhaust parts without doing a remap? Any part recommendations? I also want an exhaust system which sounds very meaty and loud
Tight budget at the moment

Well from what i have read a 3" exhaust system is the way to go, a lot depends on whether you wish to go the De-cat route or if you wish to remain road legal.
If the the road legal route is your thing (like me) then i would recommend replacing your pre-cat in the turbo up pipe, sports cat and getting rid of the rear cat, this would enable you to still pass your MOT and give you an increase in BHP, however you will really feel the benefits after a remap (i'm no expert so maybe corrected) and with a uprated air filter (K&N etc) you'll be looking at 265ish BHP.
The 1's i'm looking at myself is a Cobra system, prices vary so its best to shop around and perhaps get an open source map which would be better for your budget.
Couple of video's on here as to sounds
