Default crank pulley

hi guys i put on here a couple ov weeks ago a thread about bottom end going managed to get it booked in at a garage cause gettin a grinding noise now bloke just rang me an wanted to speak to me so went down basically the cam belt has been took of and its the water pump thats noisey and all the idelers are loose with play in them and the crank bolt was finger tight geezer said i am very lucky the engine ent scrap just wana know if this could cause internal damage otherwise no point in havin the cam belt an water pump done cheers

Looks like you got lucky as long as there weren't any other issues apart from the noise get it done

its in the process now buddy get it back tomoz cant belive the crank bolt was loose shokin m8 hopefully everythink will be fine funny thing is tho it was ment to have had a rebuild a year ago just a bit puzzled cause ov how loose everythink was glad i never drove it now

Yeh weird whoever did it couldn't have torqued it up right although your not the first to have a loose pulley bolt.When i go to get them of there usually so tight there a mare.
