A few of the fins on my intercooler have bent (i assume from rock/flies entering the scoop). Will this make a difference to anything? Would it be worth getting a toothpick or something and straightening them out?

I use tweezers with a wide flat jaw. If you have a lot of bent fins (some people use the i/c as a spanner tray) it will restrict airflow and lose you some power due to high charge temps.
